For this project, I created a detailed review of the VR game Batman: Arkham Shadow, focusing on gameplay mechanics, visual design, storytelling, and overall immersion. After recording my analysis and gameplay impressions, I edited the entire review using Adobe Premiere Pro, where I structured the pacing, added transitions, incorporated gameplay footage, and balanced the audio to create a clear and engaging final piece.
The goal of the review was to provide viewers with an honest, in-depth look at the strengths and weaknesses of the VR experience while maintaining a professional and polished presentation. This project highlights my ability to combine critical analysis with strong video editing skills to produce high-quality media content.

To create a thorough and informed review of Batman: Arkham Shadow, I began by playing the game on the Meta Quest 3, taking advantage of its high-resolution displays and improved tracking to fully experience the gameplay mechanics and immersive environments.
While playing, I focused on evaluating all major aspects a potential buyer would consider, including the comfort and performance of the VR controls, the fluidity of the combat, the quality of the storytelling, and how well the visuals and audio contributed to the overall experience. I also took note of factors such as playtime value, replayability, accessibility settings, and the game’s price point to provide viewers with a clear understanding of whether the game is worth purchasing. Throughout the playthrough, I captured in-headset footage and notes to ensure that the final review accurately reflected both the technical and narrative strengths of the game.
Once the footage and commentary were collected, I edited the full review in Adobe Premiere Pro, organizing gameplay clips, refining the pacing, and strengthening the narrative flow of the critique. I balanced the audio, adjusted levels, and cleaned up my voiceover using built-in tools to ensure clarity. To elevate the review visually, I also created custom animated graphics, such as lower-thirds, rating visuals, transitions, and UI-style highlights to help illustrate important points and maintain viewer engagement. These graphics were designed to match the atmosphere of the Batman universe while adding a polished, professional look to the overall video.
The final edit combined structured analysis, smooth transitions, cinematic gameplay clips, and dynamic animations to create an engaging and informative review experience for audiences interested in purchasing the game.
