In collaboration with Up In Stitches, a Central Texas-based embroidery business, I have been instrumental in creating custom logos and designs for a wide range of clients. From construction companies and independent school districts to churches and real estate agencies, I’ve developed unique, brand-specific designs tailored to each business’s identity. These designs are then embroidered onto a variety of merchandise, including shirts, hats, hoodies, and more. My role encompasses both the creative design process and the development of cohesive branding materials, ensuring that each piece of merchandise effectively represents the client’s brand. This collaboration highlights my versatility in graphic design and my ability to deliver high-quality, custom solutions for diverse business needs.

When working with UpInStitch.es, my first step in designing or improving logos for Central Texas businesses is understanding the identity, audience, and purpose behind each brand. Whether I’m working with construction companies, independent school districts, churches, realtors, or other local organizations, I review their existing materials, color preferences, and any references they provide. Using Adobe Illustrator, I begin by sketching concepts and refining shapes, typography, and proportions to ensure the design is strong, scalable, and embroidery-friendly.
Many businesses come to me with outdated or low-resolution logos, so part of my process involves modernizing these assets—cleaning up lines, adjusting spacing, improving readability, and enhancing overall visual appeal while preserving the brand’s recognizable character. This phase ensures that every logo effectively represents the client while maintaining a professional, timeless look.
Once a finalized logo design is approved, I tailor the artwork specifically for embroidery and merchandise production, which requires precision and attention to detail. Using Illustrator, I create clean vector files with simplified paths, balanced line weights, and optimized shapes to ensure the logo stitches cleanly on various materials like cotton, polyester, denim, fleece, and mesh. I also prepare different layout versions, horizontal, stacked, badge-style, and single-color variations, so the design works across shirts, hoodies, hats, jackets, and other promotional items.
In collaboration with UpInStitch.es, I review thread color options, stitch simulation previews, and placement guides to guarantee the final embroidered product matches the visual intent of the design. This process ensures that each business receives a polished, production-ready logo that looks crisp, professional, and consistent across all forms of merchandise.
